James Cowper Kreston Corporate Finance has acted as sell-side adviser to the shareholders of leading UK healthcare logistics provider Vision Logistical Solutions Limited (“Vision”) on its sale to Associated Couriers Inc, subsidiary of German based LIFE LOGISTICS GLOBAL.

Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Portsmouth, Vision is widely regarded as the UK market leader in incontinence logistics.  Vision operates nine logistic depots across the UK, with over 290,000 square feet of storage capacity, and provides services across the logistics supply chain from storage and stock control, to fulfilment services (pick, pack and despatch) and dedicated transport and shipment.  Vision has over 120 employees and generates revenues of over £8 million per annum.

Associated Couriers Inc., founded in 1977 in St. Louis (MO), is a courier and delivery service provider specialising in the radiopharmaceutical, life science, and e-commerce sector, covering 42 US states with 16 logistic hubs.

Stewart Lambert commented, “We are delighted to have advised Vision on this cross-border transaction. Peter and his team have built a fantastic business and a market leader in their sector.  I believe they have found a great new home in Associated Couriers Inc and am sure they will continue to go from strength to strength under their stewardship.”

Peter Toon, Managing Director of Vision, said “We are extremely happy to join Associated Couriers and LIFE LOGISTICS GLOBAL, giving us the power to drive the ongoing growth of our business and helping us in the further development of the company and its range of services.  We would like to thank Stewart and the team at James Cowper Kreston Corporate Finance for their support and advice and ultimately ensuring an excellent outcome for all stakeholders which exceeded all of our expectations.  We would highly recommend the team to other owner managers looking for an experienced corporate finance adviser to provide advice and support on the sale of their business”

Matt Silverberg, CEO of Associated Couriers Inc. also commented: “With the acquisition of Vision, we are adding another great market leader in the very promising healthcare logistics segment to our existing leadership portfolio, and the UK as the 6th European country to the LLG footprint. Over the past 12 months, we have seen an increasing global cross-fertilization of sectoral knowledge and competencies within the LLG universe - and now Vision will also contribute to boost that development. We are very happy to have them in the family.”
