Four nominations and two deals – a busy day for James Cowper Kreston

James Cowper Kreston are pleased to announce the completion of two transactions and receiving four nominations at the upcoming Thames Valley Deal Awards. Both Project Evolution, the MBO of a Thames Valley based IT re-seller and Project K9, the cross border disposal of a Solent based SAAS provider completed on a busy day for the team. More details on these two transactions will be released shortly.

On the awards front the team were pleased to receive 4 nominations. They were:

• Corporate Finance Team of the year in recognition of the 26 deals they completed in the qualifying period.
• Two nominations in the mid-range deal of the year for the management buy-out of Amberjack backed by LDC where the team acted as lead adviser to LDC and Biffa’s acquisition of SWRnewstar where Ricky Thomas, recently joined from Biffa, completed the transaction.
• Corporate Finance Adviser of the Year for Stuart Williams who worked on a wide range of local deals during the period.
